COACHING TIMETABLE UPDATE
From September 2008 it is intended to create a Centre of Squash Excellence for both boys and girls at Liverpool Cricket club.
The coaching and training will be undertaken by Advanced Level 3 and Elite Level 4 England Squash licenced Coaches. The aim is to develop Junior Players towards the high standards required to achieve a place in the North West of England Area Academy.
This Academy is for those Junior Players up to 17 years old who have demonstrated through their ability and enthusiasm to posses a particular talent for the sport.
The Training & Coaching Sessions will start on10th September and take place each week Wednesday evenings from 6.30 to 9.00pm. Those selected will be notified by letter which will include initial arrival time.
Trials were held on 8th June at LCC and some 24 youngsters attended from the 30 invited. LSA will be holding a further assessment day on 13th July for those who couldn’t attend and the boarder line.
The coaches are Keith Roberts and John Newton Level 4 - Andy Breen Jim Foggitt and Tina Burrows Level 3.
